The shelf comprises three individual components: the shelf itself, a pair of corbels, and an arch. You can opt for just the shelf, combine it with the corbels, or select the full ensemble of shelf, corbels, and arch. Composed of premium Grade A wood, these mantels can be left unfinished or can serve as an ideal base for paint or stain, making them perfect for any hearth or home. Included with your purchase are mitered hanger boards for effortless installation. The shelf dimensions are as follows: a length of 60 inches, a depth of 10 inches, and a base depth of 6 inches. When resting on corbels, the overall height reaches 15 inches, with each corbel measuring 6 3/4 inches in height and 6 inches in width, while their spacing is 40 1/2 inches apart, and the radius is 58.635 inches. The entire unit weighs 42 pounds.

To ensure you have an authentic Pearl Mantel, look for the signature pearl inlay on the right side of the shelf. This inlay is protected with a masking that allows for easy painting or staining around it; simply remove the mask once your project is completed.

Assembly and installation couldn’t be simpler. Customize your mantel by installing it on the included hanger rail as a floating shelf or by adding the corbels—if desired—or completing the entire combination of shelf, corbels, and arch. The hollow back design provides the appearance of a solid piece of wood while minimizing weight and installation hassle.

All necessary hardware to attach the corbels and arch is included; however, you will need to acquire the appropriate mounting hardware for your specific installation surface. For instance, the mounting needs for brick differ from those for drywall.
